Is there anyone that knows anything about how to start a scrapbook party or a scrapbook group?

There are no parties or get together for scrapbooking and I would like to get something going so that the scrapbooking women can get together and share ideas. I’m still more of a beginner than an expert. I hope that there is someone that knows how to get something like that going because I would love to get this started in my little town.

If you have a couple of scrapping friends and a couple of tables, invite them over for a night of scrapping. You may want to find someone to babysit the kids, if you have any, so that you can dedicate yourself to your craft and friends. If you do dinner, make it something easy or invite everyone to bring a finger food. At the end of the evening, suggest doing it regularly, once a month or so, and ask your friends to invite another.

Don’t stress over little details, and have fun!

Everyone will need a good bit of table space to spread out, you may want to have an electrical cord ready in case it’s needed, and some decent lighting helps too.

If you have supplies that you’ll never use (and who among us scrapbookers doesn’t have extras?) put them in a box to share or trade with your friends.
